
Kaiser Library, also known as Keshar Library, is a historic public library located in Kathmandu, Nepal. It was established in 1907 by Chandra Shumsher for his son Kaiser Shumsher. Originally a private royal collection, it was later opened to the public in 1969.
The library holds more than fifty thousand books, including rare manuscripts and texts on subjects like religion, medicine, philosophy, and history. It is especially known for its quiet atmosphere and rich cultural heritage, making it a popular place for students and researchers.
